Setup & Manage Find Me Follow Me

Unlike call forwarding, find me follow me will ring both your desk phone, and mobile phone either with a delay, or simultaneously. This is very useful if your team is always on the go.

Use Cases for Find Me Follow Me.

As the name implies, callers will find you, and follow you wherever you go. Looking past the ominous sounding description, gone are the days where you provide an Office Numbers, Direct Numbers & Mobile Numbers for your customers. You can simply provide one number that always connects to you. Skip the guessing game of your customers and give them clarity and connection.

Managing Find Me, Follow Me For Users

1. Once you are logged into your manager portal, select 'Users' on your top menu.

2. Select the user you wish to manage. 

3. Select "Answer Rules' on the sub-menu of the user.

4. Select the pencil icon on the right side of the screen.

5. Enter the telephone number you wish to use. This can either be an internal extension number, or an external number.

6. If you would like to add a delay, you can select the clock icon beside the number and change the 0 to a delay of between 10-15 seconds (recommended)

7. You can also select the green + beside the clock to add additional numbers.

Please note that you will need to add a delay for each number you add. In this example, each of the external numbers will ring simultaneously after 10 seconds. 

Special Consideration

You can enable the feature 'Answer Confirmation for offnet numbers." which will guarantee that voicemail messages will be left on your corporate voicemail inbox instead of your mobile phone. Essentially, when you receive an incoming call on your mobile phone, you will be required to press 1 to accept and connect the phone call.
